Pastor Adi and Auntie Intan are just ahead of me on the road, so I run to catch them.
"Where are you going?"
Pastor answers, "We're going to the church. Why don't you come with us? I have something for your family." I love these two people. They came to our village last year and taught us about Jesus. Since then, they put up a small building where we worship on Sundays. But it's not just that: they have tutoring there, sometimes meals, and even a school for making more pastors! A few of our men and women are becoming pastors. I hear they will go to some of the other villages to start churches.
When we arrive, the student pastors are gathering for a class with Pastor and Auntie Intan. Pastor disappears inside the church for a moment, then returns with something - a book. "We just received a few more of these," he says. "This is for you." Wow! I've heard Bible stories at church, and now I can read them for myself and my friends. This is amazing!
